| The installation of this software is best performed by using the Install.exe program. It may be installed from across the internet or from a CD-ROM for CD-ROM customers. | |
| If there is a problem, it may also be installed manually without using the Install.exe program. However, when doing so, it is best to use directory names used by the Install.exe program so that upgrades may be performed using the Install.exe program, if desired. | |
| If you are installing the software from your CD-ROM drive, you may also copy the AD Compliance Database to your local hard drive. Or you may install the software from the Internet Compliance Server and then install the AD Compliance Database from the CD-ROM drive separately. If you use this method, you will need to use the Install.exe program from the CD-ROM to copy the latest AD Compliance Database to your hard drive each month or you may modify the Compliance program settings to access the AD Compliance Database from the CD-ROM. | |
